MapAnimate

FAQ

Answers about MapAnimate projects, rendering, credits, and downloads.

What is included for free?

Every account receives five lifetime free renders. Free videos are 720p at 30 FPS and include a small MapAnimate watermark. The allowance does not reset.

How do Video Credits work?

Video Credits are one-off purchases, not subscriptions. They stack and never expire. If you have paid credits, MapAnimate automatically enables Pro output and uses the oldest purchased credit first. When they run out, rendering falls back to your remaining free allowance.

What does Pro output include?

Pro renders are 1080p, support up to 60 FPS, and do not include a watermark. MapAnimate does not offer 4K rendering at launch.

Does a re-render use another credit?

Yes. Projects are reusable, but every successful render—including a new version of the same project—uses one credit or free-video allowance. A failed render releases its reservation and does not consume your quota.

How long are videos stored?

The latest free video for a project remains downloadable for 30 days. The latest Pro video remains downloadable for one year. When a new render succeeds, the older version is hidden and retained privately for 30 days for support recovery.

Can I get a refund?

You may request a full refund within 14 days if none of the credits from that purchase have been used. We do not offer partial refunds after usage except where required by law. Contact support@mapanimate.app.

Does MapAnimate support driving or sea routes?

Not yet. Version 1 focuses on deterministic flight paths between commercial airports. Road and sea routing remain planned work.
